Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was admitted to the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 1970s where she learned the flute piano as well as the harpsichord for three consecutive years. Lennox was able to live by surviving on a student stipend, as she worked part-time. Lennox was a student at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied about her performances as compared to the performance of the other students. She began considering other options. Lennox played flute in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. But she quit before the band was invited to compete on I.T.V.'s talent show New Faces. She was the voice in The Tourists a British pop band between 1977 and the year 1980. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later join Eurythmics. Lennox collaborated on her solo first album Diva. It came out in 1993. The album garnered a lot of praise both from critics and the public. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album debuted on October 31, 2014. The C.D. Lennox compiled her top blues soul tracks from her childhood. Lepidoptera is a collection of four songs that were improvised by piano that Lennox has released in May 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut solo album, and is a sequel to an art installation she created at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called Now I Let You go...
