Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter of Richard McCormick. Her birth date was August 5th, 1956 at Woodland Hills California. Her father worked as an elementary school teacher, and her mom was mother at home. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three elder brothers. McCormick began performing and singing at a very young age. At the age 6, McCormick won at the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her and asked whether the actress was keen to work in showbusiness. McCormick's first job as a professional was in 1964 which was when she appeared in a commercial on TV for Mattels new doll Baby Pattaburp. She subsequently starred as Chatty Cathy in a commercial which was later adapted for Wind It up and It's Broken at the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick won a 1969 audition from more than 1200 children to become the youngest of three twins on The Brady Bunch TV show The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed with Robert Reed. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick's memoir Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was released in 2008. She revealed in it that McCormick almost lost her virginity on the set of the series during the fifth season when it was played by Barry Williams. She was 16 years old at the time while he was. It was likely that we would have a romantic relationship, said she. However, the timing was not right.
